Wayside offers individualized, culturally responsive treatment to every woman who walks through our doors. This includes access to providers representative of your community and referrals for additional services you may request to support you while in our care. Currently, women who identify as Indigenous or African American represent the two largest cultural communities that access services at Wayside. Case Management Services
Recovery is not something you should go through alone.
Wayside will provide you with a Case Manager to offer support and be your advocate. Your dedicated Case Manager will be available to help you with all aspects of your long-term healing, recovery, and transition back into your community. Our case management services are here to help you through uncertainty and doubt so you can move forward with confidence.

Your dedicated Case Manager will be available to help you with all aspects of your long-term healing, recovery and transition back into your community. Your Case Manager will:
- Help you set goals and provide support, encouragement and resources
- Help you apply for social security, MFIP, daycare assistance and other county resources
- Help you access healthcare, additional treatment and needed coverage
- Advocate on your behalf with Child Protection or other service providers
- Coordinate child well-checks and developmental screenings
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
- Provide phone and in-person support, including at your home or in the community
- Offer support at appointments and meetings
- Help you navigate the legal and child welfare systems
- Deliver family therapy for you, your child and / or your partner or co-parent
Case management services continue well after treatment to provide you with the resources and support you need for long-term wellness and sobriety.

Yes. If you attend one of our Outpatient Programs or longer-term residential treatment, then you certainly can arrange school, work, and other life-related obligations around your appointments and programming.
