Wayside Recovery Center accepts most major commercial health insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthPartners, Medica, Preferred One and UCare. We are able to work with most other insurance companies. We also accept state-funded medical assistance plans through an insurance company or through the Minnesota Consolidated Treatment Fund (CCDTF). Wayside Recovery Center does not accept Medicare. We will verify insurance coverage and obtain any authorizations that are required prior to admission.
Wayside also has options for you if you have no insurance or do not want to use your insurance for any reason! Programming costs are often covered by insurance or by the State of Minnesota Chemical Dependency Consolidated Treatment Funding (CCDTF). The Consolidated Treatment Fund is available to eligible Minnesota residents. In order to access this treatment fund, Minnesota residents need to contact the social service department of their county to schedule a Rule 25 Assessment. The assessor will discuss appropriate programming referrals during the assessment process.
What is a Rule 25 Assessment? Where do I get one?
This is an in-person interview that you will participate in with a qualified assessor who will ask you questions to determine what type of care will be best suited to fit your needs, and then make the referral for treatment and authorization for billing. The Wayside Wellness Center provides Rule 25 Assessments for free by appointment. Schedule an appointment at 651-242-5540.
