MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Aug. 21, 2021 – Wayside Recovery Center was selected by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers in 2021. The list, created by Newsweek in partnership with Statista Inc., ranks the nation’s top addiction treatment facilities based on community reputation and peer recommendations, quality of care and accreditation.

Recovery is possible, and Wayside is committed to providing high-quality, individualized and culturally responsive care.”
Even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Wayside has worked to meet the needs of women and families in the community by offering telehealth services and expanding treatment offerings to new locations and service types.
In 2020, Wayside increased access to long-term recovery support with two new locations in the Twin Cities. The Wellness Center in St. Paul provides outpatient addiction and mental health treatment for women and families. At the Center of Belonging in Minneapolis, Wayside partnered with Ace in the City and Emerge Mothers Academy to provide case management, peer support and foundational life supports central to health, wellbeing and long-term stability.
“Our services continue to evolve and grow with new community locations, the addition of on-site medical services like dental and primary care, and more culturally-affirming care,” said Wayside Board Chair Cheryl Jensen. “These changes are exciting and will help us create more holistic healing spaces for clients and families.”
